Owen's All Star Game

 Owen's last practice was an All Star Game.  The boys competed in different skills competitions.  Owen won first in stick handling and shoot out!  The boys had a ton of fun competing in the different challenges.  Owen loved the radar they had to see who had the fastest shot.  He came close but the biggest boy on the team took first in that competition.

Although the season is over, it will not be forgotten in Owen's memory anytime soon.  This is the year that Owen was Captain of his team, a moment of pride and a year of commitment the he took very seriously.  At his last game, Owen asked the coach if he could speak to his team.  He had prepared a short pep talk telling them that they had a great year, and they should all be very proud and that they needed to go out there and not only do their best but to have fun because it would be their last game together.  He was so pleased that all the boys clapped and cheered for him.... a moment he won't soon forget!

We are so very proud of his commitment to becoming better and developing this year.  He worked hard and he made us proud.  He became a solid defense man. Owen matured a lot this year... lessons that will serve him well in life!
