Merry Christmas!

Christmas day was a wonderful day that was spent with my family. This was Maggie’s first Christmas and she was very happy opening her stocking and all of her gifts and treats. The boys for completely spoiled and surprised with many special guests that they didn’t even ask for. We had a nice turkey dinner together and in the evening we went to see the Christmas lights.

Christmas was different this year because we weren’t able to spend it with any friends because of COVID-19. We had many friends that spent Christmas by themselves. We were fortunate enough to have my family spend three days with us

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve

The stockings were hung, the cookies were ready for Santa, and the boys are ready to climb the wooden hell so Santa could arrive and deliver Christmas present that night. You can tell by the look of this Christmas tree that they were going to be very spoiled. There’s something special about Christmas Eve and the magic bit of weights them in the morning.

New Christmas Eve Tradition

I knew Christmas Eve tradition was born this year! Normally the boys feed Rudolph on the front lawn and hope for him to stop in and leave a surprise on their bed. This year things needed to be changed a little bit as they knew Rudolph would not be arriving but they still won at the same tradition. Owen ran outside and threw some Cheerios on the front lawn hoping Rudolph would still alive. He did indeed he arrived with matching Christmas vacation sweatshirts for Tony, Griffin and Owen! Our Christmas Yves tradition is watching the movie Chevy Chase is Christmas vacation so it was perfect that they had matching Sweatshirts to wear that night! And they all love them!

Holiday Break!

There’s no better feeling than the last Friday before holiday break! Just in we have two whole weeks ahead of you to enjoy Christmas, break and all of the traditions of Christmas! We made quite a few different wood round ornaments at school this year and I even created a COVID-19 one to make for all of my friends. Maggie and gizmo we’re both dressed up for holidays and we enjoyed a bit of snow before Christmas as well.

Advent Calendar

I made Tony a beer advent calendar this year! I thought he would absolutely love it but he was more concerned that he wouldn’t like all the different beers I chose for him. Bahon bug! By the end of it he realized he was getting a lot of beer that he loved and he was happy.

Christmas Cookies

Even though the boys are getting older and not wanting to participate in many of the seasonal activities that I love to do they still were up to baking Christmas cookies with me! Really who can turn down making cookies! We had a great time baking them and decorating them as we do every year and of course eating some too.

Sarah’s Engaged!

In October my friend Sarah got engaged! She asked me to be her matron of honor! We spent most Saturdays in November going to Wedding dress stores to find the perfect dress for her. She found a beautiful dress! We then went shopping for our bridesmaids dresses. To say Louise we had a great time weddings are my favourite thing! And I am so looking forward to her wedding in the summer!

Christmas Grooming

Maggie went for her Christmas grooming and she got cleaned up a bit more than we had hoped but she still pretty cute. The next day she had to go have her surgery to get fixed. The poor thing she was exhausted and sleepy the next day.

Elliott Arrived

Our beloved a Elf  arrived on December 1 with a mask on! Even Elliot had to protect himself from the pandemic of COVID-19. However he did not forget to visit our boys and our new puppy Maggie and gizmo as well! He brought a letter and treats for both of them and he flew around to her house checking on them day and night. Unfortunately the boys didn’t buy it this year! Three days in we found Elliot In our bed and the next night somewhere else. It was a sad day to realize that Elliot no longer needed to visit our house. Hopefully the boys understand that that means there will be no more Elliot treats as well. The boys are growing up way too fast.

Christmas Sign making!

November and December required a blur! If you were to scroll through my Pictures you would find hundreds and hundreds of pictures of the signs I have created but not too many pictures of anything else! I kept to myself and Tony very busy making 196 signs in the November December months of the year!

Halloween!

It was a tough decision deciding which costume Maggie should wear for Halloween so she wore both! She’s a much better sport than her brothers!

Griffin didn’t dress up but attended a party instead and Owen took Cole out for a bit before heading to a party as well!
Happy Halloween!

Campbell’s Orchard!

It is tradition to go to Campbell’s orchard every file to pick apples, get a candy apple, and enjoy a wonderful fall day. This year was a little bit different and the adventure was not quite the same. Picking up apples wasn’t allowed and they were lineups to do absolutely everything so I stay there was quite short. But maybe you got to visit it for the first time and she enjoyed it shit as she got to see the big fat pigs!

Cute little pumpkin

Maggie absolutely loves the falling leaves and running and playing around in them. She is the best puppy and we just love her!
