Boat ride with Marci, Shea and Cole!

We went for a boat ride tonight to Sandy Cove where we anchored to have dinner and swim!

The boys were thrilled. They loved being on the boat!

Owen was the first to jump in and it didn't long for Griffin to follow. 

Thanks to Marci and Shea for taking us along. It's not something we could do without them! A fun experience for the boys !

Pool day!

We spent the day at the movies and then swimming! 

We had a great time!

Hockey Hall of Fame

On the weekend we headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame. This was one of our "things to do" this summer!

Who knew Habs day would be so crazy?? When we arrived we went to the entrance just to be greeted by 500 hundred ahead of us in line!! All that for a special Carey Price jersey game card. 

The boys had a great time. Lots to look at and a few games to participate in. 

Griffin was excited to get this picture for grandpa the biggest Habs fan!

We read Owen a book about the rocket and about a boy who had to change his hockey number and why Wayne Gretzky changed his number from 9 to 99. It was a great book and helped Owen changing from his number 15 to 55 this year. 

Owen was very intrigued seeing the rockets real jersey. 

After we went to the old spaghetti factory. I hadn't been there since I was a kid and we thought the boys would enjoy it! 

At the end the boys got their picture with the Stanley cup!

Happy Anniversary Lovie!

Today we celebrated our 12th anniversary! I love this man as much as I did the day I married him. Our parents should be so proud that we found someone to love as deeply for their child as we do. I couldn't ask for a better husband or father for our children. 

We spent the day together with the boys at the hockey hall of fame in Toronto and then to the old spaghetti factory. Although not romantic, it was great to spend it with the ones that mean the most to me.

Beach Week!

We spent a lot of time at the beach this week! The kids just love what they call "Candy beach". There is swimming, sandcastle building, jumping off the dock and of course mystery candy bags for a buck!

The temperature doesn't seem to bother the kids, but this sure wasn't swimming weather for the moms! 

Day in the County!

Today we were suppose to go to Ottawa but the forecast was rotten. We decided not to go and headed out to L'Auberge for breakfast but they were sold out of chocolate croissants so we decided to head to Picton for breakfast at the harbour inn. It was worth the drive... Delish!

Next we headed to the caddy shack beside the sandbanks to play mini putt. 

After we headed to my favourite homemade ice cream stop at slickers in Bloomfield. 

What a great day!

Help from big brother!

Griffins goal this summer is to learn to tie his shoes! He got a little help from big brother tonight!!

Someone Loved Camp!

We arrived at camp to pick up Owen yesterday morning to an unhappy camper. Someone did not want to come home!

We couldn't have asked for a better first experience for Owen. He loved his counsellors Riley and Owen. It sounds like they had full days full of activities and he even tried rock wall climbing which he had insisted that he wouldn't! 

It turns out that I taught his counsellor Riley. Yes I know that makes me old, but a neat coincidence!

The four boys seemed to get along quite well or as well as can be expected from boys together for 5 days!

Owen misses camp a lot. He was quite upset to leave and shed a few tears at bedtime. He has written a note to his counsellors and is sending it to them with the group picture!

A great start to many fun years spent at camp!

While boys have been away the past few days I took advantage of my time and completed 37 scrapbook pages! 

Once I get started, I can't stop!
