Best 9 of 2021

And that's a wrap!  So long 2021,  thank you for all of the wonderful memories, the good times, and even the struggles that you have brought.
We have created some lasting family memories that will last a lifetime.

Scrapbooking Marathon!

Every summer I get caught up on my scrapbooking for the year! I have a process, plus the time and I absolutely love the creative aspect of combining my love of taking pictures and scrapbooking.

I've been told by some unnamed family members that I am wasting my time because nobody ever looks at them, but I am completely ok with that because I know I have memories saved and I enjoyed creating them.

Winter Walk

We finally made it down the Jane Forrester Park to see the light display! Belleville has done such a great job with the Christmas lights that are spread throughout the downtown and bay area. Christmas is not complete without a visit at least once!

Christmas 2021

Christmas day was wonderful! Everyone slept in, some a bit longer than others, and then the festivities began!
Griffin and Owen opened their stockings first with some help from Maggie that sat patiently waiting to open her own.  Once she was done, she was very sad that no other gifts came her way.

Owen got new Air pods.

I was completely spoiled and got a new dyson hair dryer from my parents.

Griffin was spoiled with a wake board and new skiis.

Grandpa was happy with candy and scratch tickets.

I was spoiled more with the new cameo pro 4 for cutting.

Tony got his boat paid off!

The day was slow, but enjoyable, and dinner made by Tony was out of this world!

We played games in the evening, a movie and then off to bed!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2021

Card games, dinner, and a Christmas movie are our traditions. We normally watch Christmas vacation but this year we watched Bad Moms Christmas... not a good family choice!

We also continued with the Rudolph tradition, but the boys didn't make the magic recipe or sprinkle it on the lawn.  Amazingly, Rudolph still came and brought the pj's, Christmas sweatshirt and blanket.
Owen refused to even put the sweatshirt on and didn't like that his brother got matching pjs. So much for Christmas spirit.

Maggie Moo All Dressed up at Christmas!

Maggie Moo loved her Christmas dress and her red bow and she sure looked cute in it!

She was obsessed with stockings once they were filled and she realized she could get treats out of them.
She kept trying to steal everyone's stockings from them. She did get a hold of Gizmo's stocking and tore it down from the banister and opened up his Christmas presents! Next year a lump of coal for her!

Christmas Light Tour

We took Maggie Moo on a tour of the Christmas lights in Trenton.  It was a beautiful night and the lights didn't disappoint!

Secret Santa

During Griffin's last hockey practice before Christmas, each boy brought a secret gift.
Griff decided on goldfish and a Christmas toque!  Jack didn't really appreciate the fish and quickly handed them off to both Peter and Sam who decided to co-parent the fish!
The fish were a perfect gift from Griff.... quite the kidder!

Christmas Hockey Game

The day before Christmas, Griff and his buddies hit the pond for a game of hockey!
They played for hours.
I brought them Gatorade and donuts as an early Christmas gift to them all!
