A Perfect Day!

We started with mini-putt and then headed to the county while the sun was still shining. We enjoyed lunch at a wonderful pub and then headed to play and ended with an ice cream from a local favourite homemade ice cream parlour.

Limo Bus Tour

This weekend, the hood went on a limo bus tour in the county... and it was a blast!
We stopped at various vineyards where we sampled and tasted and were treated like vip's. The limo bus was awesome, and a ton of fun! We stopped for dinner at a fancy restaurant and returned back to the Brookers for dessert!

A great time with great friends!

First Cavity

So.... Griffin doesn't take after me!! He is the perfect patient and I am the worst!

We were upset when we got the news that Griffin had a cavity. I was more upset that he was going to have to go through the process of getting it filled. Tony knew he would have to be the one to take him.... there was no way I could do it!

Not an hour after his appointment this morning, Tony had already sent me pictures from the appointment telling me how awesome he was! What a brave guy! I am glad it went well! And not more sugar bugs or cavities for Griffin.

Angry Beavers

Don't get gnarly with these girls they might make you play pick the correct spouse game over and over and over again!

Two Wheeler

Owen had not wanted to try learning to ride his bike without the training wheels... he generally needs to be pushed to try anything new.

Last week when Griffy and I were coming home from Music class we saw Owen riding his bike on the sidewalk and with a closer look the training wheels were gone and were replaced with a HUGE smile!! This boy was proud of himself!

Tony said he only held onto the bike seat for about 10 steps before Owen told him to let go and from there it was a piece of cake....Owen was officially a two wheel bike rider, and a proud one to boot!

Good Job Owen!!!

Happy Mother's Day

The boys were very excited to give me the presents they had made for Mother's Day. Both had hidden their presents in their closets and I was told with no certain terms that I wasn't too peek.

Owen made me lovely gifts from both schools and Griffy made me cookies that he just couldn't wait to eat.

A great mother's day with my boys!

Ice Cream Diaries... cont'd

I don't think our friends Brad and Jen knew what they were getting themselves into when they agreed to go out for dinner with us!!!

For dessert we went on a little road trip..... to get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery. I would argue the drive was worth it, as Cold Stone rates highs on my list of best ice cream. Others might argue that having to drive an extra 20 minutes to turn around on the highway just isn't worth it. Clearly the pictures show the fun we had.... and as Jen has said "You can't put a price on Fun!"

Honestly, you can have fun doing anything with these two, but add to the fact that the ice cream guy was a little out there, added to the experience not to mention he made us HUGE ice cream cones!!

Might I mention... these two crazy kids just signed up to go on a cruise with us this summer....FUN!!
