Weekend

Jammed Packed Weekend!

This weekend was jam packed with fun adventures! We headed out to Darien Lake with our friends Anthony and Jaime to ride some coasters, have funnel cake and sing along with NKOTB. I am actually almost embarrassed to share this information, but nonetheless I had a blast.

The next day we headed to Canada's Wonderland to hit the splash park.... to our dismay it wasn't open, but we did have a blast in the kids zone!

I have tried to teach Owen to write his name, I have tried to teach Owen to do circles, I have tried to teach Owen to draw people. He just won't have it! Seriously, I try to explain to him, that his mom is a teacher, this is what she does, now let her teach you..... Not a chance. He is stubborn and wants to do it on his own at his own time and doesn't want to be told what to do. Honestly, where did he get this from :)

Last week he decided he wanted to draw..... and look for the first time ever he drew people! I was so excited! Not to mention they were pretty good. The top picture is of me. I think I look pretty good. Lovin' that I don't have hips!

And this is a picture of Tony. Yep, looking grumpy again!! HA HA!!

What a ham! Owen loves to be silly and this is pretty much the only time he will pose for a picture, when he is being silly! Nonetheless, I love it!!

Dora

We Did It, We Did it, We Did It, Ya!

We were off to the capital this past weekend to visit our friend Dora. What a great show. The kids loved it! This was Griffy's first show, and he sat like a champion for the first 15 minutes, and then grew restless pretty quick. Owen was lovin' every minute of it. Once it was over, he immediately wanted to go see it again. After the show we visited with friends and then off to stay the night at relatives. The kids loved the over night experience. Owen called his air mattress the "fanciest bed he had ever seen", too cute!
