Owen Got his braces off!

Owen was treated to having his braces removed on Halloween day so he could enjoy trick or treating with his friends and eat any treats he wanted!  He has had some sort of apparatus in his mouth for the past couple years so having it all taken out was a real treat!

Not to mention his teeth look great!

Terrific Kid

Owen was selected Terrific Kid of the month for being Digitally fluent.  This is the first time Owen has ever been selected and he was ecstatic!

Griffin's Hockey Tournament

Griffin and I were solo for his Niagara Falls Hockey tournament in November.  We bunked in with Sarah and Jacob and had a great time!  The boys had a ton of fun hanging out together and running the hotel!  The moms had fun being right across the road from the outlets and the boys played good hockey making it into the semis!

I purchased these great professional pictures of Griffin!

During the 3rd game Griffin took a pretty serious injury to his leg which sidelined him for the semi final game.  He collided with another play and their skate sliced his leg open.  There was a lot of blood and Griff went into shock and almost passed out.  Thank goodness for all the coaches and hockey moms/nurses for taking care of him, putting his wound back together and avoiding stitches!
Griffin is pretty pumped about his scar!

We also visited Niagara on the Lake and had a scoop of COWS ice cream.... my favourite ice cream in the world!

Campbell's Orchard

It's tradition that we visit Campbell's Orchard on Thanksgiving weekend!  This year we had beautiful weather and it was perfect for apple picking.  We celebrated the day before with my family for Thanksgiving dinner in Cambridge.

Halloween

Halloween was a whirlwind at our house this year!  We hosted more than 14 kids trick or treating between Owen and Griffin's friends.  Owen went with his buddies and Griffin went with a big group of his friends as well.

Owen was dressed up as Gord Downey From the Tragically Hip

Griffin was dressed up as something with a yellow mask and butterfly wings (not really sure what he was going for!!>!>!)

And of course the dads went as well but never really stayed up with the kids but did make out alright with the drinks!

My Buffet

This antique buffet was quite a process!  First finding it, then picking the right colour, then re-picking the right colour and finally getting Tony to paint it!  But I love how it turned out!

Crafting Night!

I am so lucky to have met this wonderful group of hockey moms that also love to craft!  We have been meeting regularly to craft and make wooden signs for our porches!

There was a whole group of us on this night.  Some extra friends and family arrived to join in on the fun!

District Soccer Champs!

Owen and his team became the District Champions this year for soccer!  The boys were excited and had sweatshirts made to celebrate their success!

Tim Horton Trading Cards

Owen and Griffin and Grandpa too look forward to Tim Horton's Hockey Cards each September.  This weekend the boys bought a lot of packs with Grandma and Grandpa and almost completed their collection.  They were able to finish it up on Hockey Card trading nights at Tim Hortons.

Dirty Pour Paint Night

Erika taught us how to do a dirty pour painting on this girls painting night!
It was a lot trickier than most of us thought but they turned out really well!
