Easter

Easter is right after Christmas for Owen's favourite holiday. He could hardly wait for this day to arrive. He had a countdown on, and was considerably concerned about whether his behaviour had been good enough for the Easter Bunny to make an appearance.

The Bunny was here this morning... there were foot prints and left behind carrots to prove it. There were baskets full of treats, and enough chocolate to last a lifetime.

We coloured eggs, went on an egg hunt and had a lovely time together. We had intended on heading out to Campbell's Orchards but Owen didn't want to make the trip, he just wanted to be with his family.

Tonight we have a Easter dinner to look forward to!

A Night on the Town... without the kids!!

t doesn't happen often.... well not often enough, but last night we got together with some friends for dinner, adult conversation and some yummy dessert!

Actually, I am not sure that you would consider some of the conversation to be adult like... there was a theme for the evening... and it was funny to say the least!



If you haven't been to the little French restaurant in town.... you need to go just to try their desserts. You know me..... I would take dessert over the main course any day. In fact I didn't eat all my dinner just to save room for dessert!

Ah.... Spring has arrived and the neighbours have come out to play!

It is funny, how you can go all winter without seeing some of your neighbours and then spring arrives and it is play time!

The kids love getting out to play, whether it is in the back yard, walking on the new trails near our home or playing base ball, hockey or soccer!!

I just love that the kids made a pyramid... and they had a ton of fun making it too!

Lesson Learned

I hate going to the bar.....
I will never do it again!!!




The girls planned to head out to a new club to go dancing ... and I didn't want to miss out, but honestly I really hate the bar scene.... not to mention this place sucked!!

With that said, I love hanging with the ladies even when they are all sick!!
