New Years Eve!

We spent New Years Eve with our hockey family at the Brummell's house!  The kids have a great time hanging out with each other and even got in on the tradition of building a pyramid this year.  I think they really just wanted to fall on each other!

As a group we were definitely missing Sylvain this year.  It seems hard to believe that he was part of our pyramid last year, wearing the goofy wig and now he isn't here.  Absolutely missed, but never forgotten.

Toronto Christmas Market!

I have been wanting to go to the Toronto Christmas Market for the past three years!  This year we actually had a free weekend from hockey at the end of November and headed to the big city!

We first went to Nathan Phillips Square to go skating on the outdoor rink beside city hall and the boys loved it!  We checked out the Christmas decor downtown Toronto, stopped at the Eaton Centre and then headed to the market.

The market did not disappoint!  It is really well done, with tons of cute vendors, lots of opportunities for pictures, great food, lots of restaurants and just a wonderful start to the Christmas season!

I hope that we can make it a tradition to start each and every Christmas Holiday season by visiting The Toronto Christmas Market!

Best 9 of 2018!

2018 was a good year. It was filled with lots of fun and adventures. On March break we took a cruise to the Caribbean and had a lot of fun. The summer was filled with lots of adventures and the boys had a great school year and hockey year! We are all looking forward to 2019!

Sens Game!

As one of the boys Christmas presents we got them tickets for the Belleville Senators hockey game. We went to see it as a family on December 29th. We had a lot of fun!

Home for Christmas!

Owen turn 13 this year. You could certainly tell the difference that a year has made. Open was very happy to be on his phone hang out with his friends and chill! We sure have a teenager in our house.

Christmas Games!

One of our Christmas traditions is playing games! Especially Monopoly. We all love to play own is a little too competitive but we always end up having a ton of fun.

Christmas Day!

Christmas morning is always an exciting morning in our household! The boys slept in this year for the first time but they were still just as excited to wake up and go see what Santa had left them. I love getting my pajama picture first thing in the morning and the boys don't seem to mind either. They were very excited to see all of their gifts this year. They certainly were spoiled!

Christmas Eve

it is tradition to leave Santa cookies and milk on Christmas Eve in our house! It is also a tradition that Rudolph comes and stops and visits our house and leaves are present behind for the boys. They usually get new pajamas a book and some sort of treat! I love Christmas traditions!

Christmas Hockey!

The boys both had hockey games right up until Christmas. Griffin's last game was a ton of fun to see all the coaches dressed up in Christmas sweaters! Owen had a great weekend and won both games!

Christmas Party!

it is tradition that we host a Christmas party on the last day before the weekend when we are finished school and work. This year we had a house full of friends for our Christmas open house party. It was so nice to see everyone and spend some time with friends before the Christmas holiday started.

Christmas Cookies!

Making Christmas cookies is a tradition in our house. The boys actually love to help me decorate and although they are a little bit messy I still enjoy their help! This year was a busy Christmas time but we still managed to squeak in a few dozen cookies.

Photo Life Project

Owen was given a project by his teacher that was called a photo life project. He had to choose between 10 to 15 photos that represented things in his life that he could share and display and whatever manner he chose. Obviously he chose a hockey rink. We came up with this board and chose 12 photos that represent it things that were important to him. It turned out awesome!

Gingerbread House Making!

We got together with some of our friends to do a gingerbread making gathering while Owen and Tony were away at a hockey tournament. Griffin had a great time with his friends and his mom to making a hockey themed gingerbread house.
