Meet Owen's new kitten!

Everyone knows how badly Owen has wanted a pet, and if anyone should have a pet it is Owen!

Well his day has come! Owen has a pet kitten! Still unamed but Owen is pushing for gizmo!

He is doing an excellent job taking care of him and of course loving him!

As much as I didn't want a pet or how little time our family has for a pet, I'm thrilled for this little boy :)

Killarney wedding getaway!

This past weekend we travelled 6.5 hrs to Killarney to celebrate with Jeff on his wedding. 

If you haven't been to Killarney you need to know its really long drive to a small town of 500!

Jeff and his bride are mountain hikers, hence the location. Unfortunately their outdoor wedding was forced inside because of pouring rain all weekend. 

Our lodge rooms reminded me of dropping Owen off at camp! No tv, clock or phone. 

It was fun to getaway, nice to see Jeff and even better to meet our boys in Pickering for a game!

Our newest rep hockey guy!!

Griffin is part of the tyke rep hockey team and very proud to be sporting his jersey!

This boy LOVES hockey, and that is why we spend most of our evenings at the rink! 

Hockey Parents

We went out Saturday to support our friends son Ryan's hockey team! Great dinner, fun silent auction and even better company!!

Two more to go... One for Owen and one for Griffin!

French immersion Star!

Someone is loving French immersion :)

Now that he's a junior, It's weird not to see him all day but exciting to hear all about his day!

Rainy day escapade

This Saturday I needed to pick up the almonds for griffins hockey fundraiser so of course we stopped at Doohers Baker!  The best donuts!

We also stopped at the cheese factory and of course the chocolate factory to pick up the almonds.

Aquarium

We headed to the aquarium for grandparents day. The boys had a blast and came home with a couple sea friends!

Back to school!

The boys and I headed back to school today with mixed emotions. We love our summers together so it's hard to say goodbye but the beginning of school is always exciting!  

Griffin has Mrs. Brown for his teacher heading into grade two. 

Owen has Mme Richardson starting grade four French immersion! 

Both boys are starting new adventures this year. Owen is  a junior and has recess at a different time than his brother. 

Griffin is having to make new friends this year as his friends are moving onto grade three. 

Looks like a great year!
