Hedley.... The Boys First Concert!!

The boys received tickets for Hedley for Valentine's Day.  It would be their first concert! I'm not really sure Owen knew who Hedley was... up until the last day, he thought he was going to see Michael Jackson, and he thought Michael Jackson sang 24 K by Bruno Mars.... boy we really are lacking in our music education!!

So once he figured it out and listened to Hedley's songs the whole way there, we were pumped and ready to go!!

The music was great, the boys had fun, well Griffin had fun and Owen looked like he was bored but we sure had a blast out together for their first concert!

We even met up with the Yeo's for their first concert too!!

Hometown Hockey!

Our Hometown was lucky enough to be a Hometown Hockey pick this year!  Our city definitely has deep hockey roots and with the new AHL team this year was a perfect fit.

Owen's team had been selected to be part of a jersey reveal.  All of the boys received jerseys and were invited on stage to chat with Tara Sloan. 

There were lots of games for the kids and interactive events as well.

Even Bully showed up!!

A highlight for the boys was being part of the live broadcast with Ron Mclean.  Owen received his autograph and Ron pretended to interview him about the Ducks.

Both boys landed on tv quite a few times!  Even Tony did!

A great weekend for the boys!

More Crafting!

I have become super obsessed with my new Cricut!  I thought I was mainly going to use it for scrapbooking but the ideas are endless.  I have been using it to cut vinyl to make wooden signs.  It is a lot of fun and I love the way they turn out!

The hockey mom's from Owen's team wanted in on the action too so we painted hockey signs for our boys as well!  They turned out pretty great!

Bowling Night with the team!

A rare night off landed us at the bowling alley!  

Lots of fun for all!

Yet again, we found ourselves at the game and this time Griffin came out the lucky stick recipient! He was very happy and even happier that he got it from Pokka who played in his first game that night!

Valentine's Day

 I love everything about Valentine's Day because who doesn't love love!

This year the boys spoiled me.... a heart bracelet from Owen and a heart scarf from Griffin!

Team Toboggan!

Yet another snow day, game cancelled and hit the hill with your teammates kinda day!

The weather was perfect, there was lots of snow and we all had a ton of fun!

Hockey Moms Paint Night

I gathered the hockey mom's from Griffin's team to join me for a paint night to paint these rustic looker hockey signs for the boys!  We had a lot of fun painting, creating and distressing our wood pieces!  They all turned out really well and the boys loved them!

Snow Day!

Boy.... we sure had a lot of snow this year and that means we also had a lot of snow days both on the weekend and throughout the school week!

This day both boys had their hockey games cancelled so we decided to build our own hockey fun!  We build a Hometown Hockey Snowman!

We then went sledding at the big hill!
