Family Pictures..... Love!

At the end of September we headed to North Beach for family pictures at sunset with Jenna from Jenna Faye Photography! She has captured our family each year since the boys were born. I just love these pictures! I'm so glad we were able to include the beach and sunset in our pictures. Two of our favorite summer things!

Thanks for a Great Season Blue Jays!

This season has been so much fun to be a part of! Toronto and Canada coming together to support the jays #cometogether. Not to mention the games spent with friends watching. I'm glad the boys got to experience this ride! It certainly was disappointing to have to tell them it's over when they woke up this morning, even more disappointing to not have a game to watch tonight!

But there is always next year, and we are already looking forward to it!!

Blue Jays Fever!

Like most Canadians, we have been glued to our TV set watching the play off games!

Tonight we watched the jays make a huge comeback to win three straight and win the first series!

I remember celebrating both World Series wins at university with friends and it feels equally as special having the boys get to experience this along with me!

Frink Centre

Thanksgiving day was beautiful so we took advantage of the weather and headed to the Frink Centre for a hike.

We checked out the marsh and board walk.
And played many games of camouflage.

Thanksgiving

I'm thankful for these two this thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Finally done!

This summer we took on the job of redoing Owens bedroom. He had his animal themed room since he was a toddler and it was time to turn his room into a 10 year olds room. A hockey theme was an obvious choice!
I gathered lots of different ideas and put them together to create this space.

I went with blues and Owens request for an orange wall. I love the stripes! Tony was really reluctant but loved the result.
Marci helped me create hockey prints inspired from Etsy and I framed them to make this collage.
If you click on this panoramic picture you will see the layout of his room.

His bedding is from pottery barn and I found this hockey pillow by chance at Homesense.
We couldn't go without his number above his bed. This just might be his favorite part!

This was my personal artistic addition to hang in his room. Owen often calls himself awesome so I created this piece because it reminded me of him!

Lastly I ordered this Stanley cup art because I loved it! Inside the cup it talks about every kids dream of winning the Stanley cup!

I love his room, but more importantly Owen does too!

Soccer Tournament

Owen played with his school mates in his soccer tournament. It was dreary and cold but Owen and his team won each game going into the finals.

I was lucky enough to catch a bit of his game on my lunch. Unfortunately it was this game they lost having them come in third.

But Owen came home in good spirits getting to spend the day with his buddies playing a game he loves!

Champion!

Griffin played in the Justin William's Cup in Northhumberland this weekend. They challenged St.Catherines, Ottawa and the host team.

This little team is mighty. They gave it their all each and every game. In fact we've never seen them play so well.
Hard work certainly pays off. At no point did they let up. With a 3-2 win in the finals, they win the cup!

The best part is that this is such a nice group of boys and griffin is lucky to have such good friends!

You've never seen happier, prouder  or louder cheering parents!

Way to go Bulls!
