My Santa List

Dear Santa,
Some ideas just in case your wondering.

Love this style of purse, but it doesn't have to be exactly this one or this fancy brand name.

I would love to see Taylor Swifts concert in Ottawa. Tickets not on sale yet.

A couple of books I'm looking forward to reading.

I've had my eye on these accent tables and now they are on sale!

I would also like a server like this for our dining room.

And for the third year, a black roots hoodie is on my list again!!

I could also use some new tea towels!

As Always on my list are gift cards!  Love shopping!!

Thanks Santa!!

Somebody loves their kitty!

For someone who said they didn't want a kitten, this boy sure loves Gizmo!
He wants to be the first to see him in the morning, makes sure to kiss him goodbye on his way to school, plays karate with him, and brings him for story time at bed!

Kitten Love!

The BULLS Experience!

This past Wednesday, Griffin and his team had the opportunity to have a BULLS experience.  This included a tour of the Bulls dressing room, a pizza supper and an opportunity to play a game on the BULLS ice against Kingston.  The boys got to skate through the inflatable, they were introduced and the game was commented on with interviews with the coach and a player.  If that wasn't enough, the team stayed and watched the BULLS game after their big win!

The Win!!!

Dear Santa

The boys were very excited to write their letters to Santa this year.
Griffin had his done on November 4th...
he is a boy on a mission with very high expectations of Santa this year!
I know his letter is a little difficult to read so let me highlight some of his wants:
1. flat screen tv
2. xbox
3. mini fridge
4. some lego toys
and 5. a cupboard for food in his room!!

a.k.a. - a man cave!
Yes, my 7 year old wants a man cave!!

Owen was sure to include some questions for Santa and to not just write what he would like him to bring.  This boy does listen!  He was also very concerned for his brother that he went straight to his list and didn't include any personal questions!!

Owen's list is not as complicated and he really only wants
a couple things, including skylanders and stuffies!

On Sunday, we went to the Santa Claus parade... a little late due to hockey and we got a little bit wet, but most importantly they boys were relieved to deliver their Santa letter's to Santa himself!

I just love the magic of Christmas.... and the delight of seeing it through the boys eyes.  This year especially, we will soak up every bit of Christmas and the magic it still holds for Owen as his questions have begun!

Hockey Tournament

Owen and his team had a hockey tournament this weekend!

It's hard to say whether the boys or the parents had more fun!

They started with a win and followed up with 3 losses, but the losses didn't dampen their spirits because the weekend meant so much more to them!

Celebrating their win

Running the halls together... They had their numbers on their doors so they knew where each team mate was staying.

Morning sleep in and iPad time.

And the realization that we need a bigger  with both boys plaing rep!

And the hotel... The boys loved the water slide and mini stick room. The Parents didn't love that one of our rooms had bed bugs!

Last but not least... The antics! Underwear and a note from the winning team!!

My Little Artist

Owen loves Mindcraft right now. You can usually find him and his brother snuggled up in the early morning plaing Mindcraft together.

Recently, Owen has taken an interest in drawing the characters. It's amazing how far his drawings have come!

Quite the artist!

Halloween Night

The boys were very excited about Halloween this year. Griffin had decided early on that he wanted to be a bat and wanted to create his own costume. He did a great job!

Owen decided to be a Skylanders AGAIN! This year it was Stink Bomb. Oh think of the jokes!

Tony met up with us and I had to do a double take, I wasn't expecting him to bring Pauly D back but I'm certainly glad he did!

By the end of the night Owen had decided two things:
First he wanted more candy and second he thought he would he would have like to have gone with friends!

Oh boy, you know what this means for us....
