Halloween Night

The boys were very excited about Halloween this year. Griffin had decided early on that he wanted to be a bat and wanted to create his own costume. He did a great job!

Owen decided to be a Skylanders AGAIN! This year it was Stink Bomb. Oh think of the jokes!

Tony met up with us and I had to do a double take, I wasn't expecting him to bring Pauly D back but I'm certainly glad he did!

By the end of the night Owen had decided two things:
First he wanted more candy and second he thought he would he would have like to have gone with friends!

Oh boy, you know what this means for us....

Fright Night at Phantom Farms

I LOVE a good haunted corn maze! This year we decided to take a road trip with our friends the Brookers and travel to Phantom Farms for a haunted wagon ride. The wagon had three walls around the outside of it much like a boxcar and rows of seats. A tractor pulled you into a farmers field where the haunting began. There were many scenes with creepy scary guys jumping out at you and jumping up onto the wagon... it well really well put together but not too scary! Mainly because you were in an enclosed wagon, and creepers weren't able to jump at you and scare you to death!

Halloween

Owen was Batman and Griffin just had to be Spiderman this year for Halloween. This is the first year that Griffin really knew what was in store for him and he simply couldn't wait. The week leading up to Halloween, he would wake up through the night and come into our room and ask "How many more sleeps until Halloween?".

The night before had been very busy for the boys and they stayed up later than they normally did, and we certainly paid for it the next day. Owen had a break down before nap in the afternoon and Griffy was so tired when I woke him up after his nap and didn"t want to go trick or treating he just wanted to stay and sleep. The scene that followed wasn't pretty.... me forcing him to put on his costume to go out for Halloween!

Alas, they had a blast! Owen ran house ahead of everyone, and Griffy just couldn't get enough candy! The boys already have next year planned out.
