First Day of School!

With September comes the start of a new school year. Griffin is starting grade 7 this year and Owen is off to high school in grade 9! I am teaching grade 5 this year in my classroom is right across the hall from Griffin! An exciting day but full of nerves as well.

Best Nine of 2019!

Happy New Year! As we celebrate the day we looked back on 2019 with a huge smile. from our hockey days, to our vacation days to spending time with family! This year we run on a cruise in March break with lots of great friends. In summer in the summer we went back to our favourite summer vacation spot Prince Edward Island and attended a country music festival which was a great new experience for all of us. Tony and Griffin had a great time fishing all summer and are looking forward to buying a boat next summer to continue fishing. Owen graduate at grade 8 with honours and received the athlete of the Year award and we were very proud of his accomplishments in his ability to set goals and meet them. He started high School this year and just is absolutely loving it! Griffin has dug in this year and is working hard to get good grades and grade 7 and is enjoying being in the class with all of his buddies. we are all very grateful for a wonderful year and are looking very much forward to what 2020 will bring!

New Year's Eve!!

For New Year's Eve we started off by going to the Belleville Senators hockey game. once the game was over we had it at to our friends Shawn and Michelle for a New Year's Eve party! This is our third year going to their house for a party and this year was special because they just finished their basement. We had an incredible evening with all of our friends and the boys loved it as well. We are looking forward to a great year in 2020! 2019 was a great year and there are so many things to be thankful for and we are certainly very blessed. Happy New Year!

Griffin's Hockey Tournament

The day after boxing day we all headed out to Oakville for Griffin's Christmas hockey tournament. The team did a great job getting all the way to the semi-finals and almost winning with nine seconds left in the game! We nearly missed a freezing rain storm on our way home as well! The defense moms put on a happy hour at the first night of the tournament and made margaritas for everyone! The kids love spending time together at the hotel it was a wonderful weekend.

Christmas Day

we had a wonderful Christmas this year! The boys once again we're spoiled and received wonderful presents. We enjoyed the day with family and friends. There are 14 of us for dinner and we enjoyed playing games and having a good time. The highlight for Griffin this year was getting his airpods from Grandma and Owen really wanted a TV for his room! Both boys were very happy with their gifts.

Players vs Parents Game

Griffin's last practice of the year was a parents versus kids game! This is the highlight of every Christmas break for the boys they just love going out and playing against their parents!

Comedian Elliott

This year our elf Elliott attended comedy School. Each day we would find him in a different location with a different inappropriate joke! The kids thought it was a blast! Some days he would even leave them a treat!

Date Day!!

At the end of November Tony and I went on an adventure to Toronto to the Christmas Market and to watch my very first Toronto Maple Leafs game! We had a whole day to ourselves without the kids and got to enjoy dinner out as well!

Terrific Kid!!

Griffin was selected as traffic headed November for being a great communicator. this kid continues to amaze us and we already knew how terrific he really was!

Four Little Birdies Wooden Signs

This past year my small business has really taken off! I have been making signs from morning till night and running parties for girls all the time! I've had a blast and I'm really proud of all my accomplishments! 

Owen Wins!!

Owens team went to Syracuse New York in November for a hockey tournament. They had a great time and won the whole thing! This is the first tournament that own has ever won! It was a great moment for him and all of his friends.

Hockey Pictures

Both boys participated in the Kingston hockey tournament at the beginning of November.  We had some professional pictures taken at the boys for Christmas presents and I love them!
