Super Hero Sidekicks!

The boys just had to have Halloween costumes for their sleep friends.... so yesterday we scrounged up some old material and fitted "OO OO Baby Monkey" in a Spiderman costume and "Smartie" in a Batman Costume.

The boys were delighted... and if I say so myself, the costumes turned out pretty darn cute!

Owen's First Field Trip

Owen went on his first field trip today with his class, his daddy and his little brother Griffy. Apple eating looks to be a little difficult with his current loss of teeth!

Return of the Tooth Fairy

Owen officially lost his first tooth on Sunday. He had one taken almost two years ago, but this was the first time he lost a tooth on his own. He was eating a sandwich and next thing he knew the tooth fell out! You can't imagine anymore excitement than Owen was showing over this lost tooth. We were at his grandparents when it came out, so we decided to bring it home with us so he could put it in his tooth box in his own room for the Tooth Fairy to find.

The next morning, Owen woke up to find a note from the Tooth Fairy that told him he was being rewarded for taking such good care of his baby teeth. She brought a five dollar bill, and a new beloved puppy for him to take care of him. She also left behind her fairy wand for him to keep. He was excited to share the news, but his little brother was not as excited as he was. Griffy broke down in tears, because he didn't get a present from the tooth fairy. Owen told Griffy not to worry, that he would give him the next tooth that he lost and Griffy could leave it for the Tooth Fairy! He even showed him the next loose tooth. Got to love that kid.... he is the most kind hearted boy you ever will meet!

Now as for tooth selection in this whole process, the tooth fairy wasn't too kind... check out the gap from top to bottom!

My Super Heros!

Both of the boys love super heros right now! Griffin's favourite is Spiderman and Owen loves Batman. I found the cutest pajamas for them, and they certainly had fun putting them on for the first time.

Can you guess what they are going to be for Halloween?

Rockton Fair

The Rockton Fair has become an annual tradition on Thanksgiving weekend! It is one of the best fairs that we have ever been too. There are lots of attractions for the kids, including petting zoos, children's shows, and this year Griffin was very excited to see the chuck wagon races!

Boy how Griffy has grown!

BOO in the Neighbourhood!

Halloween is a favourite holiday in our house. This year we decided to start a new tradition of
"Booing." I look forward to creating special "BOO" treats while my kids look forward to the 'ding and dash'. We had a ton of fun running, sneaking and hiding while we placed the pumpkin filled with treats on the doorstep of one of neighbours, ringing the doorbell and running like crazy! The neighbours will find a pumpkin filled with treats along with this poem:

To our good friends on our street.
Our homes' locations made us meet,
You now have been boo'd, but who could we be?
We'll never tell, it's a secret you see!
We placed these goodies for you and yours,
Then we ran fast after ringing the door!
Happy Halloween!
Place this boo! on your front door
And be sure you boo! 2 neighbors of yours!

Place this ghost in your window so others will know you've been boo'd.

This will be a tradition the boys will want to continue... we all had a blast!

I also started it at my school as well. The classes are having a ton of fun figuring out the clues and then retrieving their treat!

Cougars for Cancer

The girls and I have been looking forward to Cougars for Cancer for the past year. We had a blast at the last one and were highly anticipating this years outing. We even put together tshirts for the cause... Real housewives of Deerfield!

We had a great time.. pole dancing, zumba lessons, cooking lessons, finger painting, massages, you name it, they had it including penis balloons!

Needless to say the girls from my hood our a ton of fun.... here's to next year's event!

This is what happens when you have 6 months twins and a 2 year old toddler at home!!
