Owen received tickets to the Anaheim Ducks game for Christmas. He is probably the biggest Kesler fan this side of the border! He had his sign, jersey and tickets ready to go for his big day in Ottawa to see the game. Tony and Owen headed off early in the morning so they could go skating on Rideau Canal and head to the hockey card store before going to the game.
Owen and Tony were the first to enter the game and found themselves a spot to watch Kesler warm up and hopefully be spotted with his sign. When Kesler first came out for warm up he had noticed Owen and his sign. He had skated over to the trainer and said something to him. Kesler didn't stop on his way out after practice but shortly after the trainer came over to Owen with a signed stick for him! Owen is a lucky lucky boy! That is his second signed stick from Kesler!
And again... I'm pretty sure my tweeting prior to the game helped ;)
