Owen turned 16 and had been studying for weeks to be able to go on his birthday and get his driving learner's permit and of course, he was successful!
We had lunch at Montanas and then spend some time in the afternoon practicing driving for the first time! True to his nature, he is very cautious!
Instead of a birthday cake (something he won't eat,), we had a Halo ice cream cake layered with weights. Owen is a very disciplined young man that achieves anything he puts his mind too! Owen is into being healthy and working out and his day and cake was built around this!
This is probably one of my favourite pictures of Owen. He never smiles and shows his teeth, and this photo is pefect! Love that smile!
