Beach Week!

We spent a lot of time at the beach this week! The kids just love what they call "Candy beach". There is swimming, sandcastle building, jumping off the dock and of course mystery candy bags for a buck!

The temperature doesn't seem to bother the kids, but this sure wasn't swimming weather for the moms! 

Chilly Beach Day!

Today Owen is heading to over night camp for the first time. To keep him occupied during the day until it was time to go we headed to the beach with the skinners! 

As soon as we arrived a very large black cloud rolled in and stayed for some time. It didn't stop the boys from swimming or having fun but Pam and I sat wrapped in towels to keep warm.

Sandbanks

Today we headed to the Sandbanks for a little play time in the sand and lake. We have spent most of our summer outback at the pool, but the boys love playing in the sand so off we went for the day. We had a lot of fun, made some sandcastles, played mini putt, and shared a delicious lunch.

Nothing can beat some fun at the beach!
