I was asked to decorate for our staff breakfast on the last day of school with a budget of $30 and a staff of 60. I have to say this is a challenge. I needed to be inventive and thrifty.
I was able to purchase 8 of these vases for $2 each and fill them with colourful cheerios! I was then stuck as to how to afford the flowers to put in the vases. This is a story you won't believe but it has to do with after dark, and daffodils.
Again, I needed to be thrifty!
I was thrilled with the colour combinations; black linen clothes, blue checkered overlay clothes with polka dot plates and napkins to match the daffodils!
Not bad for $30!
