Capital City Fun!

We headed to Ottawa this weekend to share with the boys a city that is very dear to my heart!  Not only did I spend four fabulous years of University there, but I also met the love of my life!

Our first stop was to the Museum of Civilization for the Children's Museum!  The boys loved exploring the exhibits and collecting stamps in their passports.

On the way back, Griffin ate his "O'Bama" Canadian cookie that
we had purchased from the market on the way over!
See these blue skies.... don't be fooled, just about half way across the dark clouds were over head and we were soaked with no where to go!  So wet, that our clothes were sticking to us!  We had already decided we weren't spending the night and had cancelled our hotel reservation, and we were left with no where to change.... except the parking garage!  Thank goodness for Griffin's blanket we had packed to help us change into dry clothes!
Griffin checking out the boat locks!

Visiting Parliament Hill
(notice the clouds overhead!)

The boys were delighted to visit the Terry Fox Memorial.
Terry holds a special place in these boys hearts!
