The rain didn't damper this much anticipated day! After the Belleville Bulls were sold two years ago, this hockey town didn't give up! Tonight we welcome after 19 months of waiting our new AHL Hockey team, The Belleville Senators (Ottawa Senators farm team).
Owen went early to wait at the red carpet for the players to arrive and hopefully to get an autograph or two.
This was the first time we were in the newly renovated rink. It was impressive, but what was more impressive was the hockey. It is great hockey! Action packed and great to watch.
Owen had his heart set on meeting Thomas Cabot #72. He wasn't in warm up and Owen was very anxious. Quickly after a wonderful tribute and opening ceremony he spotted him standing up in the balcony and he was off to get his autograph.
Shortly after his brother and dad made the same trip!
