Owen's Hockey team played at the Bulls game last night. It was a very exciting evening for the boys and us parents too. The team went out on the ice at the beginning of the game to be introduced and stand during the national anthem. Then they watched the game for the first period and a half and went on the ice for the second intermission break to play. Owen was beyond excited. This was his first real hockey game, being out late and SCORING HIS FIRST GOAL!!! Yep, Owen scored against Bully at the game. I can not even begin to tell you how excited this boy was. He kept asking if he really scored, and wanted to watch it over and over again on the dvd. Everywhere he went today he told people he got a goal at the Bulls game! What a great memory! First real hockey game, and first goal all on the same night!
