Valentine's Day!

 The boys love Valentine's day.... not for the love but for the treats they get!  They both made me really sweet cards, which is always my favourite!

This is the first year neither of them really wanted to hand out Valentine cards.  I have to tell you, it was a bit upsetting to me.  I love holiday traditions!  We compromised... they each had a big container of ring pops for their classmates and a card to hand out as well!  The ring pops were a big hit with their classmates!

 You can tell from the smile, that Griffin loved the bullets he received!

 And Owen is happy with his hockey book, and Under Armour jacket!

 We can't forget our four legged Valentine.... he just needed tissue paper to be happy!

 Each day in February, the boys had a heart put on their bedroom door telling them something we loved about them.... Griffin loved it!!

Another bus cancellation???

 The boys have been delighted with the number of bus cancellations this year for school!  Most of them being for freezing rain, but this one was for SNOW!!  They had a ton of fun playing outside with their buddies!

 And some hot chocolate once inside to warm them up!

Snow!!

 This has been a very odd winter.... lots of rain, a sporadic dumpings of snow!  This was one of them!  25cm of snow in one day.  The boys were sure to get outside and play.... snowball baseball!

 The snow didn't stop Tony and I from are daily walk.... it only made it better!

 It was a little chillier than we had anticipated.... a welcome return home from a cold winter walk!

Just days after this ALL of the snow was gone as the weather warmed up and we were hit with lots of rain!

Nerf Guy!

 These pictures sum Griffin up to a tee!!  He loves NERF!!!  He had just received his order of 200 bullets from Amazon and his new Nerf Vest when he got all decked out for a serious nerf war!  I love the sunglasses and bandana!!
This kid has my heart.... too cute!

Bus Trip ....finally!!

 Owen has really wanted to go on a bus to a game with his team and it had yet to happen!  Luckily he had the chance to do it this year!

We all went together to play Ajax in late January!  The boys had a blast and won!

 Of course they hammed it up for some pictures and loved hanging out together for the bus ride there and back!

We stopped on the way home for supper and then pulled back in to town late Sunday evening!

I'm glad Owen had the chance to finally experience the bus ride!!

Stick Handling and Shoot Drills Galore!

Owen loves hockey!  Every Monday night for well over a year, he has attended Fine Line hockey class!  He absolutely loves it!  Him and his friends loved the class but also loved going out to dinner together each Monday night!  

More importantly, Owen improved big time this year!  So much so, he won for best stick handling at his year end All Star Challenge!  

Hockey Mom Paint Nite!

All the ladies from Griffin's hockey team got together for a hockey themed paint nite!  While some of us were there for the fun, others did a great job painting!  I had a great time.... painting not the best!

Griffin did however like it, and it is hanging up in his room!
