Griffin had his first Tyke hockey game yesterday and he was pumped! He has been practicing being goalie in the driveway for months. He got the equipment on, got on the ice, and I think it quickly hit him that being goalie on the driveway is very different than being a goalie wearing skates. It didn't take him long to be back to the bench in tears wanting off the ice.
A quick deal with dad to come on the ice with him and he was back in action!
And I might add, he was looking pretty good!
Saving lots of goals!
Winning the game 7-3!
And deciding he might want a break from being goalie for a couple of weeks!
Phew, he may not want to be a goalie after all!
We our proud of this little guy for giving it a try!
