Maggie Moo’s First Grooming

Maggie moo went to the groomer for her first haircut! She completely looked different and her Halloween picture was just a tad bit scary! But she sure is cute anyway!

Autumn Jeepin

It was a beautiful Saturday in September so we decided to take our friends Bill And Cynthia in the Jeep out to Campbell furred to visit the best bakery and all of Canada and a few other funds stops. Bill had really wanted to try master sub so we did that and then we had some donuts for dessert. Of course we had to stop and get some cheese curd at Empire cheese as well. It was nice to get to use the cheap one last time before weather was going to start to get cold and we were going to have to put the top back on the jeep

First Day of School!

Owen was starting grade 10 this year at Saint Theresa high school high school. Griffin is heading into his final year of elementary school grade 8 at Harmony public school. And I am starting my first year teaching grade 7 at Harmony public school. This is a big adjustment for all of us as we have just spent the last six months at home together during the Covid pandemic. The boys are really looking forward to getting back to school and being with their friends. I loved being at home and teaching virtually. We are all looking forward to a new start! .

Last Cottage get away of the summer!

We headed back to Golden Lake with Tony and Owen and his buddy Brady for a week of fun. Unfortunately we didn't have very nice weather and we missed out on a lot of the fun activities for the kids to do in the hot sun.  

They still went into the lake, but they didn't last very long.  They did some fishing, played games and stayed up late facetiming friends.

One of the days it poured rain so we made the hour drive into Ottawa to hit the outlet mall for some back to school shopping before school started.

We also hit up the Beaver Tails stand that is the first ever in Canada.

It was nice to get away!

 

West Lake at the Dunes

 

The Lees are are vacation friends! We have spent the last 10 years  spending March Break with them, summer trips and our annual boating trip to the Dunes.  The kids love each others company, and we were thrilled they still wanted to join us this summer!  

We do the same thing.... boat to the Dunes, swim, tube, lounge, picnic and enjoy the good weather for the entire day. Then we head to Picton and have supper at Angry Birds and off to Slickers for ice cream!

More Cottage Fun!

 

Sarah, Niki and I went with the kids to a cottage on Golden Lake. It was quiet, hot and a great getaway with friends.

The kids had a great time in the water fishing, swimming, exploring and just being kids.

Cottage days are the best days!

18th Wedding Anniversary

 

Today we celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary on July 27th, 2020. We spent the day with our friends Eric and Ang who share the same anniversary.  We enjoyed a day in the County  in the jeep visiting breweries, dinner out and of course ice cream!

18 years married to this guy has been the best years of my life.  The life and family we created is perfect and beautiful to us.

I can't wait to spend the next years of our life together!
