Pirate Voyage Dinner and Show!

The boys requested a return visit to this pirate show because they absolutely loved it last year. 

This time we brought 24 friends with us. The kids had a blast! It's like medieval times but with pirates. A great show! We loved it just as much this time around!

Sun!!

We arrived in Myrtle Beach on Saturday to 28 degrees of sun and warmth!

The kids have been enjoying the beach and pool and Owen even ran into the frigid ocean! 

Today the dads are golfing so we're headed out to mini putt with the boys! 

We are all looking forward to a great week of vacation with friends.

First Hat Trick

It's been a lot of fun to watch Griffin play hockey the past couple months. It's also rewarding to see your son realize that hard work actually pays off and that mom and dad may really know what they're talking about. 

Game by game you can see Griffins confidence growing and his abilities too. Just this past Friday he scored his first hat trick! Of course this is a great accomplishment but what came with it is even more special. 

As soon as Griffin scored his third goal, parents were throwing their hats on the ice, standing and cheering, teammates congratulating him, and moms that weren't there had already heard and started sending messages! 

It's a pretty amazing feeling to have this sort of family supporting each and everyone of our boys!

The real magic came when Owen went to the ref at the end of the game and asked if he could have the puck for his brother and then handed it to him as he congratulated him. If you know these two, you know this is a real moment!

A special moment that I'm sure will never be forgotten and many thanks to everyone for making it so special for Griffin! 

Tubing At Chicopee!

One of our favorite winter activities is tubing! We headed out tonight and had a blast. 

And the season is over....

This boy loves hockey, his team and his coach! 

The boys played their hearts out this past weekend only to see their playoff comeback come to an end. 

Going into their third game with 2 losses they came back and tied and then won the next game! It was like we were watching a different group of kids. 

Coach said if they won pizza was on him. They all headed to Pizza Hut after the big win!

Unfortunately, even with their face paint, they lost and their season is over. 

The tears said it all. This boy loves hockey and plays with heart. 

Congratulations on playing some of your best hockey this season Owen!

Snow day!

Today we had 35cm of snow fall!

Buses were cancelled, and the boys were ecstatic to stay home. 

They spent the morning with Jenny and the boys (thank you!)

Luckily schools were closed just before 1pm and I was able to spend the rest of the day with them.

Taylor Swift is Perfect For Me!

Owen has recently declared his love for Taylor Swift! Today he gave me a list of three reasons why they should be a couple. 

They have 3 things in common:

1. They both sing well (bite tongue!)

2. They both have good hair

3. They are both funny!

Well at least he's not vain :)
