Mom's 48th Birthday!

Many celebrations and occaisions have been cancelled this year due to Covid.  Normally we are away on a hot March Break vacation on my birthday.  This year we had Mt. Tremblant booked for skiing, just in case we were allowed to do something, but the government cancelled March Break this year, so instead of the time off to go anywhere we just stayed home.

I did have a quiet night with my Deerfield girlfriends to celebrate my birthday!  And of course the boys celebrated with me as well!

 

Ski Trip

Just before the end of the season, Tony and Griff got away to go skiing!  They had a great day of good weather and ideal ski conditions. Not to mention, Griff got to skip school for the day!!

 

Night Skiing

Griff got a night pass for the Batawa Ski Hill for the winter season.  With hockey shut down, it was the perfect opportunity for him to get some extra ski time in!

Unfortunately, he missed a bunch, when the government shut down the hills for over a month just after Christmas due to Covid.

Once he was able to ski again, he was at the hill every night with his buddies skiing!  

 

Maggie and Giz Model!

I introduced some new signs to my pet collection in February and who better to model than the great Giz and Maggie Moo!  People love their pets and these signs have become very popular!

 

Valentine's Day 2021

I am a sucker for all things romantic!  Valentine's day is one of my favourites because I just adore the cards that Tony picks out for me and the message he writes.  I know I don't hear the words all the time so it is nice to look forward to a special day that celebrates our love.

Covid has stolen so many celebrations from us, but being together is the best thing that has come out of Covid- so much family time that we may normally never have had.

I have been with this guy for 21 years and my love just continues to grow!

 

My Shadow

Little Miss Maggie Moo has easily become my shadow!!  She follows me everywhere I go and to be quite honest, I am always looking for her too!

Maggie Moo is the sweetest thing and has brought such joy to our home.  We couldn't love her anymore.

Maggie loves the snow and enjoys going on winter walks.  We found a nice trail that we take her on and she loves exploring!

 

Tiny Kitchen Update

Last Fall we re-did our kitchen cupboards from maple to white!  Such a nice and modern change to our kitchen space.  I added two small accents to our space.  I created this God Bless Hello Fresh sign because simply we would still be eating horribly without it and I also repainted my bread box from black to white and change the design on it.  I love how they add to the kitchen!
