It isn't summer until we take our annual boating trip with the Lees to Trenton, have dinner, get ice cream and boat home... this year looked a little different as we needed to order our food and eat it on the boat, but it was still a fantastic time!
To top it all off, the weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful sunset.
Life is good, and better with our friends!
Maggie is fitting into our lives perfectly. She is adorable, affectionate, rambunctious, and a good sleeper. We were very nervous that she would not want to sleep at night but she sleeps straight through the night on her own.
She has a witching hour at night when she is overtired and goes a bit crazy!
We are learning her language, and her ours.
She loves walks and swimming in the pool. She is a dare devil! Will do just about anything!
Gizmo is stand off ish and his nose it definitely out of joint but he is starting to come around.
Meet Maggie Moo our Cockapoo! After many suggestions and much deliberation we finally settled on the name Maggie Moo!
On May 19th, we went to pick Maggie up from the breeders. Owen prepared our home and made sure we had everything we needed to bring her home.
As you can see, she has melted our hearts and fit right in!
Just like every other holiday and celebration, Mother's Day was done COVID style. We started to break out a little bit and wandered out to the county for a pizza and ice pick up! Two of my favourite treats!

While the boys were out of school we took advantage of the time to have them learn and develop their interests. Griffin loves wood working projects and decided on a dog house for our new puppy.
Tony loved spending the time with him to teach and help him.
Owen doesn't have the same interests but was very keen on getting the dog house done perfectly for our puppy. He was in charge of staining the house and designing the the bone name plate.

After years of wanting a dog... it is finally happening!
We went to see the litter for the first time at the end of April. There were three puppies in the litter and we had last choice, which worked out perfectly because she was the one we wanted!
