Summer Pool Party!

Nothing says summer like a pool party!  The boys invited a bunch of their friends over for a swim during the first week of summer!

Summer Fair!

Summer always begins with a carnival for Waterfront Weekend!

The kids love it and it just makes it feel like summer when school is out, the days are hot and a fair arrives in town!

Canada Day!

July first is always a special day in our family, not only are we celebrating Canada day but also the day that Tony and met in 2000!  We like to say it was fireworks!

Today we celebrated with friends at their street party!  Swimming, potluck and fireworks!

These boys are silly and goofy and great buddies!  Griff is so fortunate to have made such good friends with many of his hockey teammates! 

Jacob and Noah are just two of them! 

Last day of School!

 It is hard to believe that school is already out for summer!  These boys both had excellent years!

Owen is finished grade 7 and moving into grade 8.  He loved having Mr. Brown as his teacher this year!

Griffin finished grade 5 and is already moving into grade 6!  He had a very large class this year with 33 students in a very small room.  He loved having all of his buddies with him in his class!

Happy 13th Birthday Owen!

We have a teenager in the house... although he's been acting like a teenager for years!  Owen decided he wanted to spend his birthday with his friends at Canada's Wonderland!  They left early and shut the place down!  They had a blast on all of the roller coasters!

Owen is growing up so quickly it is hard to believe he is already a teenager!  He is hard working, driven, goal oriented, smart, sensitive and very loyal to those he loves!  One thing has never changed about Owen, he loves animals!  This boy has the biggest heart when it comes to animals.

He also loves hockey... anything hockey he loves and can tell you any fact or statistic!  He is also a great defensemen!  He loves playing hockey and wants to be in the NHL when he grows up!

Happy Birthday to our favourite 13 year old!  We love you Owen!

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day we decided to rent a jeep for the weekend for Tony!  He has wanted a jeep for so long that we thought this was the perfect gift!

He was excited!  We bombed around for three days in the jeep driving to Campbellford for donuts, to the county for lunch and the beach and to our friends trailer in the evening!  

The boys loved it and we all agree this was the perfect vehicle for us!
