That time of year again!

Some might disagree but I say scrap booking in the summer is the most wonderful time of the year!

Each July I pull out all of my supplies, set up a space and catch up on all my scrap booking! I absolutely love it! I can spend hours sitting and creating.

I think I'm going to have to somehow figure out a permanent spot and make this a more regular activity.

I've been very successful at getting 2014 complete!

Check out my layouts!

Now on to 2015!

Another Summer Filled Week

This week it was just Griffin and I. Owen was staying with my parents.

Griffin was very excited to have the week all to himself. We planned lots of great days. We headed to the beach with Marci and Jen. We went to gananoque for the day to swim and play on the jumping pillow. We spent a day with Marci and Cole. We visited me friend Lisa at her cottage. Griffin had his best friend Ryan over for a play date. And to top the week off tony took griffin and Ryan to the Monster Truck show on Friday night!
How could you ask for a better week??

Visit with the Johnstons!

For the past few summers it has become tradition to visit our friends Barry and Wendy in Collingwood. The boys look forward to the visit and always request a return trip the following year.

This year we stayed in their new home that Barry built. Absolutely gorgeous!

If that wasn't  enough, we were lucky enough to arrive just after they brought their new puppy Marzi home.

Swimming, kayaking, Blue Mountain, roller coaster, high ropes course, Menchies and lots of jokes were highlights from our trip this year!

We can't thank Wendy and Barry enough for having us but also being so good to our boys which as we all know are more than a handful!

See you next summer!

Summer has finally Begun!

Last Thursday we headed to beach and summer had felt like it had begun!

Oak Lake is the beach were the boys love to go. Digging, sand castles, catching fish, swimming, ice cream and candy bags.

This place feels like summer!

Fun at the lake!

This past weekend we headed north to a cottage with the Skinners, Lees and the Brookers. Beautiful weather, fun water toys, frog catching, fishing, boating, and campfires... What more could we ask for.

Thanks to Pams family for having us this weekend. We had a great time and the company was fantastic!

The boys fell asleep on the ride home yesterday... Completely exhausted!

15 years ago on Canada day in Ottawa I randomly met Tony! We have always joked that it was fireworks! I couldn't have asked for a more lucky day than to meet my husband just by fluke while standing in a bar annoyed by my friends that didn't want to stay to watch the fireworks! Tony has always said it was the cardigan.... And shortly after talking for a little while he was hooked by the teachers pension!! LOL
Whatever it was that brought us together that night I am grateful 15 years later and counting!

15 years later.....

Canada Day!

We spent Canada Day with a bunch of our good friends! Luckily the rain ended and the party was able to go on!
We have all come to love Bill's Shrimp Boil, so much in fact we had three last night! Always a crowd pleaser!
The kids had a great time as usual, lots of swimming, playing games and campfire. We ended the night with fireworks! The city put on a wonderful show!
Another perfect Canada Day!
